look, the new school is just about seven miles from sandy hook elementary in monroe. crews have been working for the last three weeks to try and refurbish that facility, make sure it's ready for the students and the staff this morning. part of that is bringing the equipment, all the furniture that they could from sandy hook elementary school, putting it into these new classrooms and making them look exactly like they were before the students left. and that's down to the book bags and the jackets and the exact same places they were before the shots rang out at sandy hook elementary. the idea is that's going to help these kids as hay transition back to class, help them feel that they're in a familiar place. help them feel like they can get back to some type of routine. counselors, parents, everyone in this community says it's very important for these children. today, the first major step in that process. it's going to take some time. everyone understands that. today the focus not on the lesson plan for these teachers but, again, getting back into that routine. trying to
